1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made through lspsteelworks.co.za. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. LSP Steelworks (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Orders & Payment
  • All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at the current rate.
  • Payment must be made in full before any order is processed or dispatched.
  • Accepted payment methods: PayFast (credit/debit card, EFT, SnapScan) and direct EFT.
  • Orders are only confirmed once payment has been received and verified.
  • For custom fabrication orders, a 50% deposit is required upfront, with the balance due prior to dispatch.
3. Cancellation Policy
  • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided the item has not yet entered production or been dispatched.
  • To cancel an order, contact us at info@lspsteelworks.co.za or call +27 11 948 9967 as soon as possible.
  • Custom fabrication orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced, as materials will have been cut and work begun.
  • If a cancellation is approved, a full refund will be processed within 7 business days.
4. Refund Policy
LSP Steelworks takes pride in the quality of every product we make. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
We will offer a full refund or replacement if:
  • The product arrives damaged or defective.
  • The incorrect product was dispatched due to our error.
We are unable to offer refunds if:
  • The product has been used, altered, or damaged after delivery.
  • The return request is made more than 7 days after delivery.
  • The product was custom-fabricated to your specifications.
Return Process:
  1. Email info@lspsteelworks.co.za with your order number and photos of the issue.
  2. We will assess the claim and respond within 3 business days.
  3. If approved, return shipping costs will be covered by LSP Steelworks for defective or incorrect items.
  4. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.
5. Delivery Policy
  • LSP Steelworks delivers nationwide across South Africa via courier.
  • Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
  • Estimated delivery times:
    • Gauteng: 2–3 business days
    • Major cities (Cape Town, Durban, PE): 3–5 business days
    • Remote/outlying areas: 5–7 business days
  • Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by public holidays, courier delays, or adverse weather conditions.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, a tracking number will be provided via email.
  • LSP Steelworks is not liable for delays caused by the courier once the order has been handed over.
  • Collection from our workshop at 55 Dan Pienaar Drive, Tedderfield, Gauteng is available by prior arrangement.
6. Damaged or Lost Deliveries
  • If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and product immediately and notify us within 48 hours of delivery at info@lspsteelworks.co.za.
  • In the event of a lost delivery, we will liaise with the courier on your behalf to resolve the matter.
7. Custom Fabrication Orders
  • Custom orders are made to your specific requirements and are non-refundable once production has commenced.
  • LSP Steelworks will confirm all specifications in writing before commencing production.
  • Lead times for custom orders will be communicated at the time of quoting and may vary depending on workload and material availability.
8. Warranty
  • All LSP Steelworks products carry a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, or normal wear and tear.
  • To lodge a warranty claim, contact info@lspsteelworks.co.za with your order details and a description of the defect.
9. Privacy & Data
  • LSP Steelworks collects only the personal information necessary to process your order and deliver your goods.
  • We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except where required to fulfil your order (e.g. courier services).
